The LICR Fund, Inc., is a US 501(c)3 organization that exists solely to manage the endowment of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Ltd (LICR), the largest international non-profit institute dedicated to understanding and controlling cancer.
The LICR Fund's investment goal is to provide for the core spending needs of LICR on a sustainable basis while maintaining the purchasing power of the endowment for the indefinite future. The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors, which determines the Fund's investment policy and objectives, defines guidelines for the allocation of assets within the Fund, and - together with management - appoints and evaluates the performance of outside investment managers.
The Fund's orientation is global and broadly diversified. Its investment portfolio incorporates a range of asset classes and strategies designed to achieve the objective of the Fund on a risk adjusted basis.
